In sewing workshops special tools and equipment are used to produce collections and serial products. To achieve the high quality of the end product it is important to understand the modern equipment and machinery as well as the relevance of the factor material. This module covers processes of operational organisation and the creation of worksheets which precisely define the product.
- the functioning, operation and use of industrial devices, including sewing machines
- planning and implementation of product-related processes on the basis of an actual example
- relevant influencing factors such as suitable stitch types, seam types, sewing thread, needle types, and additional components
- the creation of worksheets
- processing of details in accordance with industrial standards in batch production
- Business organisational tools and their use

Participants will receive a confirmation of attendance on completion of the module.
This module can form part of a HF (college of higher education/BSc degree course) it will be considered to have been passed if the assessment process stipulated in the graduation regulations is successfully completed.

For participating HF (college of higher education/BSc degree) students, the cost of one elective module per quarter is included in the semester fees.
