Fashion Drawing
Taught in German
The fashion sketch gives expression to a concept and presents products in an artistic manner. However, a mastery of basic techniques and insights is essential in order to reproduce an idea on paper by hand and bring it to life. In the Fashion Illustration module, participants can acquire the basics required to create an expressive fashion illustration. The focus is on manual visualisation of various products and materials as well as on understanding the proportions and movements of the body. The development of an individual drawing style is encouraged through exercises and experiments using a number of design techniques and drawing tools.
The module covers the following topics:
- the proportions and movements of the body
- the visual representation of fashion items and accessories
- the representation of patterns and materials
